ESP & NEGDS Junior Classes Rules & Requirements 

Classesn:

Junior – 1

·        10 to 12 years of age, up to 380 cc’s fan cooled

Junior – 2

·        13 to 17 years of age, up to 440 cc’s fan cooled

Junior – 3

·        14 to 17 years of age, up to 440 cc’s liquid cooled

Junior – 4

·        16 to 17 years of age, up to 600 cc’s liquid cooled

1.      All junior classes are subject to changes and or rule refinements for fair competition without notice.

2.      All juniors will be required to complete a race rules safety course and training session before entering into competition and will be issued a NEGDS drag race license. Licensing and training courses will be held at designated racetracks, which will be announced in our first newsletter. First date being the Test & Tune date at Seneca Falls, NY.

3.      Junior licensing will require a $25.00 annual fee. Plus the NEGDS junior membership fee.

4.      NEGDS has the right to refuse any junior from the licensing process for any reason it deems necessary.

5.      All junior classes will be treated the same as a Pro class and will be required and held accountable to the same pro rules.

6.      Junior classes are “stock” sleds only.

7.      Sleds entered in the junior classes will be required in meet the manufacturers legal ISR filed weight for the sled.

8.      Parents will provide proof of age. A copy of juniors birth certificate plus consent forms, which will be filed with NEGDS.

9.      All junior classes are trophy classes only.

10. Junior classes will also be in the points program and entitled to year-end awards.
